About Puja

During the sacred month of Shravan, Mondays (Mahasomvar) are considered highly auspicious for worshipping Lord Shiva, the destroyer of all obstacles and the eternal symbol of love, strength, and transformation. On this Mahasomvar, 14th July 2025, an extraordinary Maha Abhishek Puja will be performed at the Shri Gauri-Kedareshwar Mahadev Mandir, a divine site where the energies of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati reside in harmony.

This powerful abhishek puja is specially designed for devotees seeking to improve relationships, bring love and understanding between partners, and eliminate ongoing quarrels, miscommunications, or emotional disconnects. When Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati are worshipped together, they bless couples and families with unity, peace, and mutual respect.

The puja is open to all devotees in three meaningful ways:

  • Individual Puja (1 Person) – ₹951

  • Partner Puja (2 People) – ₹1501

  • Family Puja (4 People) – ₹2100

Each ritual is conducted by experienced Vedic pandits who follow precise mantras, procedures, and timings, ensuring every offering reaches the divine in its purest form.

Alongside the abhishek, devotees can enhance their puja experience with divine Chadawa Products like:

  • 5 Belpatra (Ram Naam) – ₹101
These sacred leaves are offered to Lord Shiva, each leaf inscribed with the holy name “Shri Ram”. It is believed that Shiva is extremely pleased when offered Belpatra with Ram’s name, symbolizing the unity of devotion and righteousness.

  • 5 Belpatra (Om Namah Shivaya Naam) – ₹101
Each leaf is marked with the powerful mantra “Om Namah Shivaya,” invoking the five elements and Lord Shiva’s cosmic presence. Offering these brings deep spiritual healing and fulfills heartfelt desires.

By participating in this Maha Abhishek, you are not only offering sacred items but also surrendering your personal intentions, prayers, and challenges at the feet of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati. The ritual includes pouring sacred items like Ganga Jal, milk, honey, curd, ghee, and Panchamrit, symbolizing purification, nourishment, and spiritual awakening.

According to Puranic beliefs, Shiva-Parvati represent the perfect divine union. Worshipping them together on Shravan Mahasomvar is especially beneficial for resolving marital issues, attracting a compatible life partner, or strengthening family unity.

Every participant will receive updates of the puja being performed at the mandir, and a Puja Video will be shared on WhatsApp after the ritual. Devotees may also receive a Divine Aashirwad Box at their doorstep, adding a sacred touch to the home.

Take this sacred opportunity to heal your relationships, restore harmony, and invoke divine blessings on this Mahasomvar, 14th July 2025. With sincere devotion and sacred offerings, may Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati fulfill your every wish and protect the sanctity of your relationships.

Shri Gauri-Kedareshwar Mahadev Mandir
Nestled in the sacred heart of Kashi, the Shri Gauri-Kedareshwar Mahadev Temple stands as a rare and powerful confluence of devotion, divine union, and mystical legend. Among the countless shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple holds a special place—it is said that a single darshan here bestows the spiritual merit of seven pilgrimages to Kedarnath.According to ancient lore, King Mandhata, a noble descendant of Lord Rama and an ardent devotee of Shiva, would journey frequently to Kedarnath, offering khichdi as a symbol of his humble devotion. Moved by his unwavering faith, Lord Shiva appeared to him in a vision and instructed him to perform intense tapasya in Kashi. It was here, in response to his penance, that Shiva manifested in the form of a Shivling made of khichdi, merging the divine with the earthly—a form now venerated as Gauri-Kedareshwar.This sacred lingam is unlike any other. It is not just a representation of Lord Shiva, but a divine embodiment of Hari-Har, the cosmic u...

FAQs

What is a Temple?
A temple is a sacred place where Hindus connect with Bhagwan Ram, Shiva, Vishnu, Krishna, and other deities through prayer and devotion. It is not just for worship — it's a space for peace, reflection, and spiritual growth. Temples help people find answers about life, karma, and dharma.
If you're unsure about your Gotra, the first and most reliable step is to ask the elders in your family — parents, grandparents, or extended relatives. They often carry this ancestral knowledge passed down through generations. However, if no one in the family recalls the Gotra, Sanatan Dharma offers a compassionate solution. As mentioned in our Shastras, when a Gotra is unknown, one may respectfully adopt Kashyap Gotra — a revered sage among the Sapta Rishis — for performing rituals and Sankalpa. You can confidently proceed with your booking by mentioning Kashyap Gotra in the Sankalpa form. This is spiritually accepted and honors the intention of devotion. Hari Om.
At Siddh Mandir, over 1 crore Hindus worldwide place their faith in us — a responsibility we deeply honor. Our pandit jis come with 10–30 years of experience, and most belong to temple families that have served for generations. Their devotion is not limited to tradition — they carry a deep spiritual bhava (emotion) while performing each puja, ensuring your prayers are offered with purity and heart. Hari Aum.
